The foundation to Couture & Associates has existed since 1997. Established by Svetlana Couture as a law firm, this business now encompasses and actively employs knowledge, expertise and hands-on experience not only in the legal field but also in entertainment and media production, public speaking, education and public relations. Our firm is dedicated to providing our clients with competent "user-friendly" services and our common-sense approach is aimed at speedy and cost-efficient ways of resolving matters and finding practical solutions to a variety of problems and issues. We pride ourselves with our versatility, professionalism and ethics, successful client relations, compassionate representation and reasonable rates.

We represent and provide legal and consulting services to individuals as well as business entities in the areas of transactional entertainment, IP, licensing agreements, employment-related matters, business matters, like formation, contracts and other areas of general civil practice including real estate transactions and litigation. We also have experience in the practice of family law in California, including contested custody and visitation.
